Light pink eyeshadow and light pink blusher :)I hve natural strawberry blond hair, hazel eyes and very fair skin. What makeup colors would work for me?
i have the same features! go natural, use browns and silvers. for eyeliner Grey works good. for mascara brown or black. in the crease of your eye go with brown and above the crease put some silver. for lip stick and blush use light peach(nothing too dark because you have fair skin) if the browns don't suit you try greens with pink hues.I hve natural strawberry blond hair, hazel eyes and very fair skin. What makeup colors would work for me?
Muted colors are most flattering - bright or jewel tones usually look too harsh against fair skin. Use brown, grey, or mossy green eyeliner, and brown mascara - stay away from black, it looks too harsh on a fair-skinned person.
I'm very pale w/reddish-brown hair, and my favs for eyes are taupes and pinks or rose colors with a bit of brown to them. With hazel eyes you should be able to wear greens and greys if you want to, as long as they're very soft and muted natural-looking shades. Cheeks look good with soft pinks or roses with a bit of brownish color to them as well - the bit of brown keeps the colors from clashing with the reddish hair shades. For lips I like either a clear or tinted gloss for everyday, a rosey-brown or suede color for more color, and a sienna red for drama. Although true red or bluish reds are the reds usually recommended for fair-skinned ladies, I find they look weird with reddish hair colors because they clash. Peachy shades of cheeks or lips may look good on you with your lighter hair - try them out in natural sunlight before buying, if possible, to avoid ones that are too orange for your skin.
If you really want to go for bright colors and drama, it's best to only do it at night, to avoid looking too made-up in natural light.
Some department store beauty counters offer makeup lessons, though some will require you to buy some product from them after the lesson. Prescriptives is usually very good at finding colors that flatter your natural coloring. Mary Kay can be very good too. Just look for a person at the counter who is wearing a style of makeup that you think is flattering, and communicate to the person what sort of look you're interested in - natural, professional, evening, dramatic, everyday, etc. to guide them in helping you to create a look. And have fun!
