Did you use movies as hair/makeup inspiration?

I loved Debra Messing's hair and veil when she got married on ';Will and Grace';. I have been searching for a pic to show my hairdresser, it was so pretty, simple and elegant.Did you use movies as hair/makeup inspiration?
My uncle is my hairstylist for my Oct. 12th wedding of this year. I've told him that I wanted my hair as big as Julia Roberts in Steel Magnolias.





And of course, when I went to my florist, I told her absolutely NO PINK in my floral arrangements. My colors are NOT ';blush and bashful!';

No, I used the old Alberto Vargas pin-up paintings because I had a vintage wedding and wanted finger waves and old-fashioned glam makeup.
I don't know if you would consider this a ';Movie'; but if you search through YouTube you will find quite a few instructional videos on hair and make-up. Some of them are even specific to weddings/brides.
No. The last celebrity who had hair like mine was Gilda Radner and she died years ago.
