Always curl lashes before applying mascara. You can actually curl lashes AFTER mascara is applied, as long as your mascara is dried (a good tip to know if you want to curl your lashes later in the day without removing your mascara).

Don't forget your bottom lashes. For years I avoided mascara on them until a makeup expert showed me how much mascara on my lower lashes really make my eyes pop. I rarely go without now. To apply mascara on lower lashes, hold the brush vertically, then sweep it back and forth.

Individual false lashes are exotic, gorgeous and can look natural if applied correctly. Large cities offer ';lash bars'; in the hottest department stores. If they're too long, you can trim them with scissors.

For a doe-eyed, seductive look lining your lower lids with a creamy white eye pencil.

White liner may sound odd, but it really opens up the eye. You can also try putting it on the inside corner of both your upper and your lower lids.

Another way to open up eyes is to skip the white eyeliner and opt instead for a platinum highlighter. Dot along the browbone, then blend in. Apply highlighter at the inner corners of your eyes. Follow with eye shadow.

Make sure your brows are manicured. Until you get your brows professionally waxed, tweezed or threaded, you won't realize how much they affect the rest of your face. Cleaning up your brow line of stray hairs, adding a slight arch and filling in sparse spots are key to making eyes look much larger.

I find once you get a professional brow job, you can do it yourself for a few months using the pro job as a ';map'; of where to tweeze. To keep brows in place, try a clear eyebrow gel, clear mascara or just spritz a bit of hairspray onto an old toothbrush and brush brows in perfect place.

If you are Asian and have small eyes like me, you probably have tried different methods to make your eyes look larger. What makes it more of a reason to do so is if you also have single eyelids. This is because most Asians have more of a fatty deposit in the area between their eyebrows and their eyelids. I have found that there a few different tricks you can do to create a look that will make your eyes appear more large and dramatic.

First, line your eyes with a waterproof or long lasting eyeliner preferably in black, which creates a more dramatic look. You will want to line the rims of your eyes (the inside portion of eye above the bottom lashes and the portion of the eye below the top lashes). You could either use an eye pencil or a liquid eyeliner. I have found that with a liquid eyeliner it is easier to line the top portion of the inner rim of your eye, but can be more difficult when lining the portion above your top lashes and the inner rim portion of your bottom lashes unless you have continuous practice and maintain a steady hand. An eye pencil is much easier to use, but may not be as bold as liquid eyeliner if you are looking for a more dramatic look.

Next, use a lengthening and volumizing mascara in the darkest color available and apply as many coats necessary or desired to create a more dramatic look. I have noticed that if you have sparse lashes there really is no need to apply mascara on your bottom lashes since there are so few anyway and the eyeliner will have already filled in the effect. Also, I noticed that if you let your lashes dry in between every few coats, the dramatic look will build more quickly and effectively instead of piling one coat after another continuously and you end up having those awful ';spider leg'; looking lashes.REDO: what should i do with my face?(including makeup, hair, ect...)?
Ok. For makeup, heres what you can do.

Eyes: Get a soft pink eyeshadow, and put it on your eyelid and under your brow bone, evenly. Then get a nice brown eyeshadow and blend it in the inner corner of your eye lid, and then the outter corner. Also blend the brown into the crease. Then take a dark brown eye liner and line your upper and lower lash lines, and on the upper lashline, make the line a little thicker towards the outter corner. Then apply mascara :)

Cheeks:Get a rose pink and put it lightly on your cheek bone

Lips: You would look good in watermelon! Or any pink. This is like natural makeup and it will really bring out the color of your eeyes.

ok for your hair.... I would say just do loose waves or curles. But if you wanted to play it up and go a little crazy, you could always crimp it. hope i helped.
Hey there. Okay, you look like a very pretty girl. I'll give you some tips and advice too.

Hair: I really like your hair. The bangs are perfect, I have those too. I was thinking maybe you could grow it out a little bit. I am not sure if you have any layers or not, it's kind of hard to tell but if you don't I'd suggest some layers.

Makeup: Okay, I don't know if you wear mascara or not but if you don't, definitaly start. Apply to top and bottum. I like cover girl mascaras, they work really good for a drugstore makeup product. You could try maybe some eyeliner, just on the top or top and bottum. I suggest pencil, liquid can go on too thick for an everyday look, in my opinion. I can't really tell in this picture, but if you have un-even skin tone, or blemishes, acne or you just want to try it, you could get a foundation and or conceler. I use Bare Escentual's bareminerals foundation and conceler. There conceler is called bisque. You can also expiriment with natural %26amp; neutral eyeshadows! No big bright colors, it looks trashy. And, you may like a brush or a bronzer. Lip gloss is always a nice finishing touch.
